This is a view of San Francisco Peaks from our RV park in Meteor Crater. As you can see there is still snow on the mountain.

Meteor Crater is nearly one mile across and more than 550 feet deep.

The Holsinger Meteorite is the largest discovered fragment of the 150 foot meteor that created Meteor Crater.

So as the sun sets on the San Francisco peaks I think I will close for now and tomorrow we will be on the road to Albuquerque.
